Thanks , but this leads me to another question, or several more questions!
Can you try to raise the height of that fence, I have tried, with negative results!
Is it possible that this fence will have some internal programming, that over-rides that file, due to the fence post that are applied to it?

the fence and post are all part of the same object, and i can raise the height of the fence with no problems; but then, i'm using Norb's version of Lstudio 6. also i usually don't code the LS file with the actual height/width/depth coordinates, it takes my being on the actual map to tweak them in the properties box - something of which i assume you are well aware.
but if you're trying to import this into the older version of Lstudio, i'm not certain why it wouldn't work just as well, as i don't believe there's anything different about the LS file. try creating a new LS file and see what happens.

OK, Thanks – for the information but I think that I have figured it out!
Even if I change the
LS file, the
terrain.lvl file is
over-riding any change to the original settings.
I haven’t tried changing any of the other objects to verify this, but I believe that this is the case. The reason for asking was that I slightly increased the size of the soldiers, to get a better sizing to the doors on the houses.
This solved that problem, but created another one, due to the increase in the soldiers, the fences are now only slightly above the waist area.
So, I basically wanted to increase the size of the fences, to fit the new size of the soldiers.
And then I had another idea, why not make a bit more room by removing the houses, and only leaving the barns, and the fences. So, I’ll probably just put the soldiers back to the original size and be done with this little experiment!
But, I did come out better by making the fences, and the soldiers slightly more darker, making them stand out on the battlefield a little bit more, so it wasn’t a total waste of time.

i'd think, if anything, you'd want to
reduce the sizes of the soldiers to get to a more proportional relationship between the map and the troops; as it is we had to make the troops about 2x what they'd be in real life, just to get the formations to occupy the right amount of surface area.

Is this a downloadable mod yet? It really looks good.

Thanks Chamberlain – you know how I like to tear things up, and change them around!
Louie Raider - I have always been a fan of the larger size units; it helps me to see them better!
GBS - I still trying to get this to work without altering the original game files, but haven't been able to figure it out!
Now, I have copied the game to several different locations on my hard-drive, so if I mess something up, I just erase that file and get the original file from one of those locations.
But, this game is different, so changing the original files is the wrong way of adding a mod!
I should have this figured out pretty soon!
