Not sure what a "HITS" game is. But, I'm sure a total noob could add some fun. I don't have the new Anteitam update, but...I'm willing to try GCM. Will be my first MP attempt. You guys afternoon Battle's are hard for me to make, however. Weekends are really good. Just let me know. If nothing else, you can use me as "Cannon Fodder". :laugh:

We have a scheduled game every night which usually kicks off around 7pm EST although there are often earlier games starting around 5est

just purchased chancellorsville and gettysburg
I'm still in the process of learning the game
never played a strategy game online (been playing offline since the early days of AoE been very active in various flight sims from IL2 to red baron- yeah I'm getting a bit long in the tooth... B) )
Id really love to get involved in this thriving community
guess I could always serve as cannonfodder for the seasoned veterans muahha

There are some differences in approach between the groups, so which to choose is really a question of personal preference.
And there is no reason why you shouldn't join both! New players are very welcome in either.

Look here. The website is down today. So, at 5 pm eastern, today April 21, 2013, NY Cavalry will be setting up a non ranked GCM game for those who want to play using Leffe's scenario generator.
