Am I the only one excited for the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War, which will last a glorious 5 years? I mean yes the war sucked but I have to hope and assume the next 5 years will lead to a slightly increased attention to the Civil War and perhaps a slue of new Civil War games (or at least a trickle). I would think the next few years would be a good time to be releasing Civil War games due to the heightened attention, hey Norb 2013 might be a good year for a Gettysburg Campaign release... hint hint... As a reenactor, I am most definitely looking forward to the next five years. It all kicks off this December with South Carolina's Secession and I am excited for the years to come. I hope you are right that this will see an good increase of attention in the Civil War.
But let us also not forget to remember the people who actually went through the war. I am as excited as anyone about the Anniversary from a Historical standpoint, but we also must not forget that, "War is Hell!"

Yes this will be the best of all times for the Civil War. I hope many new books will be written and published for the next 5 years. The one hundreth back in the early 1960's is what got me hooked. I will not be around for the 200th so this is it for me. 2nd Kentucky you will be around in the year 2060. So you will have something to look forward too.
