Having problems with Socket error's? UPDATE!!!

Hi.
Here is the link to fixing socket errors.
I gave you guys a link earlier that has you downloading a program that should have fixed this problem, but it doesn't, and that makes me into a real tit, so here is how you reset, and fix your winsock errors for windows XP, and Windows 7.
WINDOWS XP
----------
Now for windows XP, visit this site Windows XP Winsock Fix. This works perfect because I had to fix my Windows XP as well. I think it had something to do with my using a program called NetSerial, and Virtual Serial for a project I was working on (which worked by the way).
----------
WINDOWS 7 & Vista
----------------------------------
1. Open up the command line utility and enter:
netsh winsock reset catalog (resets winsock entries)
netsh int ip reset reset.log hit (resets TCP/IP stack)
2. Reboot your PC
OR Download the small batch file below to fix your Winsock errors for Windows 7 & Vista. Just make sure that you run it with admin rights (right click on the batchfile, and run with admin rights), then reboot. I tested this just 5 minutes ago, and it cleared up my socket errors.
Batchfile for Windows 7 Winsock Errors.
Hope this helps...and I'm sorry about that damn piece of crap software I posted earlier.
That's it.
