General Garnier sir,
Very nice battle report for engagement 280.The veterans of my division from that fight have read it and suggest you must have a very clear memory of the days events and a cool head under fire as its scripted just the way they remember it.Once the boys had been ordered into that wheat to drive in the Federal flank it was sure hard to keep a leash on them,all that artillery fire on the left of our line creating the baseline for the thrust of the bayonet through the wheat and into the devils backyard!Many of them are no longer with the division sir however we have the honor to carry the flags of the boys on with us with Battle 280! Stitched into the silk! Into the Wheat boys and our homesteads will be secured forevermore!
