James Robertson Jr wrote a pretty good bio on Little Powell.

Yeah it's a very interesting read. It goes into detail on many of the battles he was involved in (practically all of the major battles in the east). He was something else.. One of the greatest generals of the Civil War, but could have been even better if he wasn't so sick.. If he wasn't killed at Petersburg, he would have died shortly afterwards of his illness anyway.James Robertson Jr wrote a pretty good bio on Little Powell.
