Balanced OOBs in sandbox seem to be askew

The balancing effect that used to be implemented previously doesn't seem to be working as it used to in Sandbox. I've noticed on both ends. As the Confederates, I just outnumbered the Union nearly 2:1 in division v. division combat; and as Union, I'd play Ayres division and face Hood division in full force---a hopeless battle to be sure.

I've noticed it over several sandbox games, so it might be worth a look see. Thanks.

In the Sandbox options, check the Balance Forces button. :)

Ahhh...I see it now. Thanks.

I didn't remember having to click that before. Was that new with the patch, or perhaps an early sign of Alzheimer's?

Yes it's a new feature. Some folks want to have the mystery of never knowing what kind of numbers you are facing. One of the cooler feature of the patch.. :)

Rules out that latter issue. Thanks, pal!

The interesting thing was, every time I played Feds, I ended up facing Hood or McLaws. I think the AI is even smarter than I thought. Heck, if I had the choice, that's exactly who I would pick. ;)

Wait a sec...you guys wouldn't be working on a project called Skynet per chance, would ya?

:P
