I just bought Gettysburg this morning from the Naval Warfare Store,and am having what is apparently a very common problem with activitation; my game cannot talk to the registration server.I tried the methods in the stick thread on that problem, and no luck.
I just emailed support with all the necessary info, but when I hit send I got kicked back to the "Contact Support" webform.Is this normal, or is this another problem?
I paid what is for me a lot of money for the game, and I would like to be able to play it.
I am on the verge of disconnecting my computer from my DSL line and try the manual method,but will wait to see if I get a reply from Tech Help.

I did get a "we received your message"response from Tech support,so that's ok.

Installed the patch. same problem. I tried registering with my anti virus and firewall off, still got the "Can't talk to registratiion server" message. I don't know what else to do. I am beginning to feel I made a bad mistake in buying the game.

No idea why that would happen, but we are prepared! There is a way to activate without talking to the server. It's done through email and there's directions in the activation dialog, as well as the email that you need to send.
