148th Gettysburg

Post by DavidAcheson140PVI »

How are you guys celebrating or remembering the 148th anniversary of the battle? yesterday I pulled up a chair sat down and watched the 1st day from the movie. Today I plan to watch the 2nd day and then tommorow the 3rd. couldn't make it down to the reenactment but I plan on going for the 150th. Share your ideas on how to commemorate this event. :cheer:

I hope one day they will have live cams available for folks to watch the renactments on the web. They have beach cams and street cams all over the world,it'd be great to watch as it happens.

I played several of the Day 1 scenarios in real time according to the starting times, then went out to Gettysburg and camped out at the PA Monument for the days of the battle. Was an experience I'll never forget.
