Hi.

Check this out, and let me know if this will do the trick.

Linux version: http://www.openmovieeditor.org/

Windows Version of AVS Video: http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Editor ... e&cid=9958

This one says it will do what you are asking...Let me know, if it works, I'll take the time to download it. I just hope it will allow me to use a download manager. If not I'll have to use my old trusty putty tool.

Cheerio my good man.

Hmmmmm, check this out as well, I think this could be free, not too sure though. It's over 145 megs (counts me out). Link: www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Editor.aspx?s ... e&cid=9958
Thanks Mike! I'm downloading both right now. First time I've had my name on a topic. Don't know if that makes me famous or infamous. ;)

Who knows...

Let me know how it goes, it's going to take me close to 9 hours to download the file. (groan). :(

Cheers...

Ouch! Took me just over a minute (talking about the AVS Editor for Windows). I haven't used it yet except to watch a couple of Instructional videos on the web site.

It's not free but it launches. Not sure but I'll let you know if there are limitations in the unregistered version.

I'm amazed that you do what you do with just dial-up. I have 20Mbs and I would be hard pressed to go back to 56k or 128k or whatever you're getting. With all the creative energy you have it's a shame you're throttled with such slow Internet speeds.

I will say I admire you not patronizing companies which export jobs. I wish more people were like you. Unfortunately because of my job I don't have that option.

Keep up the good work!

I did see there is an Old Movie effect. I watched the tutorial on adding effects and it's pretty straight forward. If I come up with something decent I'll post it. Thanks again.

Please let me know how it goes. I'm still downloading (haaaa).

Thanks for the compliment. It has taught me the real meaning of patience, and to tell you the truth I don't like it much. :)

Thank you. I could get highspeed for about 30 dollars, but I would have to go with Bell Aliant, and I won't do that.

I figure for any country to help out any other out there, they had better help out their own first.

If Canada wants to help out others, first get us strong, then if they want to help out others, go ahead, but don't do it at the expense of the rest of us...I mean I like sharing with others, but the weak can't help out the weak, it's just self destructive...Oh well I do have dial up, so it's best to be thankful that I have something. :)
Keep up the good work!
I will try... :cheer:

Cheerio!
