Scourge of War Boards

I received a e-mail of specials and new software, offered by Gamersgate. Lo and behold Scourge of war was right on the front page and had a five star rating!

Thought you all would like to know.

Thanks John, we just did that this week. We are trying to get the game out and they are a great place to be.

We had another bloody, badass fight tonight, mostly grizzled vets, 10 players, 36k troops, almost 40% casualties.

Hard fighting all about.

Ended with both sided having turned 3 objectives, one not held long enough to turn.

A draw.

I'm amazed there aren't literally hundreds if not thousands of people playing this game multiplayer every evening.

Fantastic game, one of the best ever.

I hope you guys get rich off of it someday.

What night to you normally do your MP bouts. I would be willing to join in if another was needed. A long time ago we use to have similiar fun with Sid Meyers Gettysburg. We did that with 56k modems.

We've had as many as 18 in a game. The link above is to the GCM (Garnier's Campaign). There you can create your divisions (one Union, one Confederate) and find links to teamspeak.


We'll be playing well on into the night tonight. Several players are Sid Meyers Vets.

Hey just saw this, Im a gamersgate buyer hehe. It is an awesome market place. if you want to get the game out there more may I also recommend Direct2Drive and to a lesser extent Impulse Driven (I believe run by Gamestop). I gave the game a 5 star rating and have posted a review (dont know if its up yet though).

ps. Im a Sid Meiers Vet, used to be in the CSA clan as CSA_Benning if any of you remember me. (I was a kid then haha). Used to have some greats skirmishes with GAR, JGG and AOV clans hehe (im from the gamespy arcade era, not the MPlayer era) just a heads up
