I've downloaded and begun to play the Pea Ridge mod with the new map. If I activate B&F VIII-1899, it causes a CTD. I realize Pea Ridge is an older Mod. Is there any way around that?

First off, in Modifications, make sure B&F is prioritized below the Pea Ridge mod and its upgrade by Crikey, the upgrade also below the original mod. I haven't had time to check out the new upgrade but I'll get to it later today. In the meantime please post the Work/sowgb.log file here after a crash. Unless otherwise indicated, all my mods should be compatible with each other if prioritized correctly.

Below find a copy of the SowGB.log file. Also, the Pea Ridge Redux folder is located below the B&FVIII folder, and I don't know how to place the B&F folder below the Redux.

Your quoted message above explains the issues you're having. When you open the game the first screen you see is the Main Screen, it contains the Modifications Screen where you enable or disable and prioritize the mods available in your Mods folder. You obviously are aware of how to enable mods but missed the concept of prioritization. This is done by selecting the mod name and moving it up or down with the two priority buttons positioned in the lower left of the Modifications screen. Mouseover the buttons to see their function as demonstrated below.

Also, as seen below, enable only the mods you need to play a specific battle as many mods conflict with each other and can easily cause crashes, just as you have experienced with this report. Your log file has numerous errors caused by conflicts. You can have more mods enabled than I show below but you must enable them one at a time for new battle or map mods to determine which ones cause conflicts...It's a gradual learning process. Check your log file as you add mods to new downloads, it'll usually tell you what's compatible to what.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Believe me when I say I join those who are grateful for your support and aide for GB.
I learned how to move B&FVIII to the bottom of the priority list. However, that did not work. I hav only the Pea Ridge, Pea Ridge Redux, and B&FVIII, in that order. Until I disable B&FVIII, there is a CTD.

There's another mod loading: Additional ACW flags & spritesv1_44. I'm unfamiliar with this mod, maybe it's causing the errors. Besides this, the Pea Ridge mods and B&F are properly prioritized now, glad I just didn't confuse you more. Please disable this mod and report back. I'm crossing my fingers that this is the culprit, otherwise I'm running out of ideas.

BTW, I ran that same scenario today with the Pea Ridge Redux and had no issues or errors, so Crikey's mod is evidently working fine...Nice work Crikey!

My thanks again for your help and suggestions. I found a solution. I re-downloaded the original Pea Ridge 1862 mod, made sure the sequence of the mods was correct,re-installed and enabled the GCM Flags mod. All is right in the GB World.

I know mod will replace former version game files in showing and other aspects,so it is a chance to remake font system.so what is the structure or making methods.

I am indeed honored, a Chinese version of B&F! :)

This will be hard to accomplish since the GB engine doesn't support language options. Still you can get a lot of text done, just make sure everything's in mod form.

Can't help you with your fonts question, but here's a text file that provides all the 'IDS_' labeled text (translate text after the comma [,]). It's opened with notepad. After unzipped, copy it to the Text folder in B&F (overwrite original, those lines have already been included with this attachment):

You're also going to need a lot of the Logistics files, they should be included in the SDK. Ask if you can't find files that are referenced, I'll help when I can.
