Hi.
Well in this day, and age free really isn't free, there is always a catch somewhere along the line.
Anyway, I have found a place to get your own free shell account. It can be found here: http://shellmix.com/index.php/free-acco ... ll-account
Why even do this (this is for B. ) because I am trying to use my free shell account for two things, 1: Use Eggdrop, and 2: Get an IRC server up, and running for my website.
Anyway, if you are interested in such a thing, by all means give it a test drive, it's a 64 bit FREEBSD OS.
What do you use for a telnet client? Hey good question. I use ZOC terminal, but you can use a free telnet terminal called Syncterm.
Hey Mike, what type of FTP software do you use? Man what an excellent question. I use two. One is called FileZilla, and another is called "Free Commander". Free Commander is not an FTP client, I mean it does have the FTP client option. It's a dual panel file manager, and it's free (I love free). The links to the files will be found at the bottom of this post.
