Leader casualties....

Is it at all possible to increase the chance of battery, brigade or division commander casualties? Is that something in the works for Antietam, etc...?
Reason I ask is this: One thing we experience quite often in MP games (GCM-specific) is the use of division commanders (or other individual leaders) to scout out enemy locations. Usually the players don't have to have their leader get too close to the enemy to spot them in flat open terrain, and distance spotting is completely realistic, but with the new LOS fix and Garnier's random maps (which are heavily wooded), I've seen player commanders get well within weapons range of enemy regiments and batteries without chance of reprisal as the engine currently doesn't treat leaders like units when it comes to ranged weapons. If I have a regiment within rifle fire range of a spotted enemy brigade commander, for example, they should be able to blow him off his horse, or at least make the attempt.
In one recent battle, I was able to keep tabs on Little's infantry as it parked itself on the reverse slope of Cemetery Ridge out of site of my line by walking my division commander over the ridge. His regiments were in column very close to the ridge and my commander was well within rifle range (less than 50 yards distant). I've seen cases where two leader, one Federal and one Rebel, are practically parked right next to each other by themselves, almost like they were having a conference right in the middle of a battle....
This isn't a show-stopping issue, exactly. The recent LOS fix has done a heck of a job in creating some fun and deadly situation.
