OOB's - Converting my TC2M Packs

As some of you old timers will know I made a few OOB's for the TC2M game!
So over the next few months I'm going to start releasing here - I'm sort of new modding SOW so still swoting up, but I've got Garniers OOB converter which is going to be a big help - I thought I'd start with some of the first ones I did Pea Ridge, Perryville & Brandy Station.
Then I'm thinking of releasing my campaign packs also. Quite a bit of work involved as I was a bit of a bugger for trying new ways of showing army organisations so aditionally I will have to strip them back before converting to SOW - but here's a list of what I did for TC2M
Vicksburg
Atlanta Campaign
Shermans March to the Sea
Grants Overland Campaign
Petersburg
Early's Valley Campaign
Appomatox
Currently working on a New Camden Expedition & Red River Campaign - I did this a while back but lost it when my old laptop was stolen!
Other idea's in the cooking Pot - Bristoe Station maybe?

Excellent. We need more OOBs around here.
That's a great list there, especially if you are looking for a challenge. Any of those will be tough playing as the Confederates, especially Appomatax.

Zeke you may try and add in new portraits on the toolbar screen of some of the commanders, I think that is modable? I may be wrong, but it would look great to see William Hardee, Pat Cleburne, Billy Sherman, and Grant. You can leave out Bragg's portrait, It may cause a CTD, or a massive revolt of the Confederates.

Can't believe you actually wrote Sherman and Grant 2nd TX... I thought your keyboard forbayed the writing of Yankee names!!!
I like the idea of the portraits though - I'm going to look at this!

When did the conferates ever have it easy?!!! - lol
My personal favourite is the Atlanta Campaign - but Appomatox is interesting to play - I love the Saylers Creek OOB

I am wondering if you already have the OOB's created? If so you may wish to take a look at Garnier's OOB editor, It has a built in TC2M OOB converter, then do some tweaking.
Looking forward to the new OOB's.

This is definitely modable. It's not an easy task though and requires creating new unit classes etc. (that is if you want the OOBs enabled all the time without screwing up the stock portraits). If you decide to do this, I'll be happy to offer advice.
I'm a big fan of commander portraits.

Well since I kinda work for the team here, I can't go around spreading truths about those no account barn burning blue belly scum. But seriously, those two were great generals and were fighting against tremendous odds? I am suprised it didnt take em longer to subdue the Rebellion given the lack of manpower and industry. Portraits would do all those commanders justice.

They were the first of the new generation of modern thinking generals.
Ive downloaded Garniers fantastic OOB Tool - very useful and I'm experimenting around with OOB's at the moment - so I should be able to release my first OOB pack release around xmas time!
This will include:
Prairie Grove
Cane Hill
Pea Ridge
Perryville
and a couple more!!!
