Packed vs Old Style.

I am wondering something about mods which have been created for v1.3, and the new way NSD has packed it's graphic files.
Question: Will the modifications currently made for 1.3 have to be edited to accommodate the new way the graphics are packed?

Why don't you try them and find out?
No they should still work, but if the modder wants to take advantage of the new technology, they'll have to pack the texture files like we do.

Hello there LP, and a Merry Christmas to ya!
I have, and you know what there is quite a difference in performance.
I have played the packed version (of course), and afterward disabled my v1.4 patched mod to compare version 1.3, and you folks are right on the money...It is better. I have found a pretty big difference between the two.
Again thanks, it would be well worth it for those who have mods out there convert them over. Then again I'm not the one who has to do the work so... :woohoo:
