New Objective Options

I welcome the new timed objectives made available in the last patch. Not to be unthankful, I have three further suggestions:

1) Can the objective only be held by at least 100 men?

2) The default radius is 422 yards. Can this radius be 100 to 150 yards?

3) One of the objectives does not go away when time expires. All others do.

I will look into option 1 and 2. About 3; that is because there is always one Hold OBJ. Hold OBJ's don't go away. The rest are Waypoints. If you click the help button on the SB screen, it is all explained there.

The radius and number of men are chosen randomly from a range based on the battle size (brig-army). They are currently set pretty high, but I have proposed these changes:

Brig
Radius - 50-150 yards
Nummen - 100-400

Div
Radius - 100-300
Nummen - 400-800

Corps
Radius - 200-500
Nummen - 500-1000

Army
Radius - 200-500
Nummen - 500-1000

Let me know if these will work better for you, and we will get it in the final patch.

I don't expect anything to be changed just because I asked for it. My experience with objectives comes from MP games and I know many more people play SP than MP. I certainly would want more people to have some input.

From my experience 100 men holding an objective with 150 yard radius in any size battle is sufficient in MP play, but this may not work out in SP vs the AI.

If you play with multiple objectives it is hard to properly distribute forces to meet the enemy if so many of your own forces are used to hold objectives. Again, this is from an MP standpoint.

If it is only me requesting this than I wouldn't change a thing.

RC Harmon

No it makes perfect sense and it's something I noticed before as well but it slipped my mind.

The changes I listed above will be in the final 1.4 patch. Thanks.
