Game still ending within a few minutes of start in Sandbox mode after 1.4

Hi Norb,
I'm still having troubles getting the game to play out a long scenario in Sandbox mode. Within 15 minutes of ingame time the game ends out to the victory/loss screen where I always get a loss from -5 to -32 points or a little more. I've set the parameters for victory points to 20000 and the time limit to 240 and even tried 0 one time on time limit and it still does this.
Am I missing something in the setup that causes the Sandbox mode to end so quickly?

What is your objective point value and time limit?

Just tried another one with higher settings and started at 9am was over at 9:27am with me taking a -8 loss.
I went with 10 objectives this time at 100points with 20000 point limit. I'm playing Andersons Division on the Confederates side. I set the clock at 240 minutes.
This happens every game. It never goes more than 30 minutes from the start before ending and nothing is happening but artillery fire by either side.
Ooops sorry I meant for this to be posted in the other thread I started (can you move it?)

You can find your log file in the game directory, Work folder. It's called sowgb.log

this was a fail grade of -8 and I wasn't even in the range of fire.

There are so many variables in there trying to handle every situation.
The fail grades are supposed to be points where the other guy is just done, no reason to continue.
When you play sandbox, the game will automatically add a fail check for each highest officer on each side.
If you are one of the highest officers:
[Init]
FailGrade=-2.0*(what you set as the win score of sandbox)
If it's not you then:
[init]
lvl1grade=-4000
lvl6grade=-500
lvl3grade=-2000
lvl2grade=-3000
lvl5grade=-1000
lvl4grade=-1500
These are all copied based on designer values and are moddable through the sdk in the sandbox scen ini files.
It sounds to me like you are not setting a win score for your sandbox scenario, or you have it set to 0, so it's reached very quickly.

Good point Norb, you need to set a win score. I usually set it to zero because I usually don't need a win score to tell me if I've lost or won.. It's usually pretty obvious.
