I started my IT career as a Mac tech and even way back then there were a PC emulators. I suspect they're even better now.

You probably lose alot of performance though? I remember my uncle had one, and the mac version of PC games all had bugs in them...
Like in this one excellent game 'another world' you were supposed to be rescued by one of the AI characters from a certain death situation. In the PC game he showed up and hoisted you through a hatch in the roof -but in the mac game he didnt

Something similar in Prince Of Persia 2 as well...there was a switch to turn off some trap that hadn't been included.
This was in the days before internet and patches. If your game was broke, it was broke.

I rock a 27-inch iMac i5 and I love it!
For PC gaming, I run Boot Camp, which lets me run Mac OSX and Windows 7 on different partitions (which is super easy to set up in comparison to ten years ago or so) and I swear games run better on the Mac/Intel architecture over any straight PC I've owned, IMHO.
My next Mac dream purchase is a MacPro with three monitors. But that's a long way off yet! :pinch:
