Gentlemen,

I hereby submit my request for a Divisional Command. If it is available, I would request the Division that most closely corresponds to Al Hays' 2nd. Corps Division, AOP, July 1863. It contains not only my Home Brigade, (Carrolls), but my Home Regiment, (14th. Indiana), and it's follow-on Regiment, (7th. West "By God" Virginia). The honor would be mine.

Yours Humbly,

Jackson O'Neill
Currently Major, USV
Commanding 1st. Provisional Battalion,
2nd. Corps, Army of the Potomac

Sign me up as well. What time period are we talking about for the AOP? Gettysburg, before of after? The Fifth Corps under Meade at Chancellorsville? Phillip Kearney, Jesse Reno, etc.

If you deem me worthy sir, I would be delighted to take charge of the regular division, fifth corps. However, I would be just as satisfied with a brigade.
