Has anyone tried sending FREE TEXT orders while playing single player?

Okay what I am wondering is if you send off a courier messages in free text which matches word for word when you send a message by clicking the order with the mouse?

I was sending off a free text message by typing in What is your current Status? which is the exact same text as if you chosen it by clicking the mouse.

Tell you the truth I never got a reply by clicking the order, or by sending it in free text mode so I can't tell if that works or not.

No - that order doesnt work in SP. Alot of the orders are just time savers for MP.

I never tried writing an order word for word though - I would say it doesnt work, because if you check the courier csv, the orders themselves have different, shorter text commands.

The text we see is just for explanation purposes, so by just typing it out you woudlnt be implementing the order..

Thanks con20or, I was just interested in seeing if it would work. Hmmm too bad you couldn't send orders by typing to the A.I.

Haaaaa, that would be like asking for a way to transmit orders via thought... :silly:
