Movement while locked in your Saddle. (request)

I was just trying to have a game sitting in the saddle, and you know something, I think I have become corrupted by first person shooters.
I am wondering if you fine well dressed folks at NSD would be willing, or able to allow a player to move about by using the "W" key while locked in the saddle?
Use the right mouse for facing, and the "W" key for movement.
Oh one more thing since I am making a request, where is my Career Mode? :woohoo:
Just a thought guys.

WASD keys for HITS would be very cool, and allow the officer/player to be able to see more, more easily.

This is already on the request list. I requested a while ago, but other things have taken priority over it.

One more vote - this would make huge difference to HITS games.

Oh while your at it, could you also create a way to Gallop?
Press "W" for a slow easy going ramble, and a key combo of "W", and "Shift" for a earth pounding, dust flying gallop...or a simple double tap of the "W" key would suffice.
I know, I would like to visit the moon, but Gingrich seems to have staked his claim on the moon already.

Or just W for Walk and WW (two taps) for gallop.
How would this tie-in with having your brigade commander order his men to use roads though?

I can 'strafe' left and right with the 'a' and 'd' keys; rotate left and right with the 'q' and 'e' keys; and move up a bit with the space bar and that's with a 2 yd HITS camera setting. You want to be able to move about? Or do I misunderstand? (wouldn't be the first time for that, eh?)
Never mind; I did mis-read ...

 ... you're talking about moving your CO and his horse about, not the camera.
