GCM Singleplayer Campaign

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Listen to Mr. Slanuwhite, he knows of what he speaks. You could be on top of Old Smokey, all covered in cheese, one day...and then that cheese melts.

Thank you Garnier for this single player campaign generator. I can only imagine how much work has gone into creating this tool.

Again thank you.

Garnier, I have so far only seen battles generated that have 5 divisions per side, or 2. Does the system generate any other size battle? Any chance you could let the player select how many divisions are generated please?

If you go to your campaign on the campaigns page: http://www.sowmp.com/gcm/campaigns

You can set your campaign to use custom battle settings and let you choose the divisions for each battle.

When I click custom and then save, it says, I have inadequate permissions to view this page.

Either you're not logged in or you were trying to edit someone else's campaign.

Save the 'custom' setting.

Then go into the launcher, 'continue campaign', manage your division if you wish, launch a new battle and you get a whole load of options, including which divisions to bring to the battle.

I've just had a very quick try as I need to go to work. Looks amazing. Got an error but I bet it will be sorted by the time I finish work :)

Thanks again, Garnier.

PS Any chance of including 0 objectives as an option? This is how we prefer to play in the Kriegsspiel HITS & Courier group.
