Histwar and Scourge of War...

Earlier this morning I finally was able to finish downloading the Histwar demo (latest version), and played the tutorials, and I really enjoyed it... Since there wasn't much more to do with Histwar I decided to start my Scourge of War campaign (thanks to Garnier's genius), and I seemed to have suffered some sort of culture shock.
Scourge of War first flooded me with eye candy which to tell you the truth I didn't expect to happen, and how easy it was to move around, the sounds of my troops moving, the marching music floated lazily through Gettysburg, just everything about SOW at the moment really shined.
Since I play SOW at least once a day (if possible) I have taken for granted on how beautiful SOW actually is, and the real genius behind this game, and it took Histwar to wake me up to what SOW actually offers.
I'm not banging Histwar, I like his game (even though it costs an arm, and a leg) without a doubt.
You folks have to try Histwar, and play it for about an hour, then start up SOW right afterward, and you will see what I mean. SOW not only has beautiful graphics, and easy command, but SOW has an "In your Face" pageantry about it that it just outshines everything else on the market.
I know for most I am preaching to the choir, but those who are poking their heads in here periodically listen to this, you can never get anything better than SOW...
... And if you have the extra money, purchase your copy of Histwar (if that also interests you), because it offers something entirely different, and is also a great game to add to your arsenal.
Have a good one!
