I thought people may like this as an alternative to the default graphics.

As usual, goes into the 'MODS' folder.

:)

The attachment AntietamTrees_Effects.rar is no longer available

No idea what you have done to the trees but, unless placebo effect, in a fast test tonight the performance improved to me! And I tested with the improved smoke lite.

Perhaps a bit obscure but it is due the contrast between the trees and terrain, the effect is interesting and I like it.

You say this mod chages the smoke too. What are the changes, exactly?, I´ll try it anyway later.

Are the vanilla Gettysburg scenarios mod friendly?

It seems the toolbar mods and the trees effects does not work in the official set of scenarios. Is it normal?

Guda,

The straight-on Gettysburg Scenarios are not affeced by Mods. Someone did a Mod of the Scenarios as "stand alone" type missions which would be affected. They are in the Mods List, I believe. You have to install them, though.

Well I did not download the scenarios you are speaking about because I did not find the sense having them duplicated, but I did not have thought about it, be moddable...

Guda,

Yes and a reasonable thought, too. I think LP set them up this way in order that people could play them individually, rather than have to complete each one as a"carry-over." Works pretty well, actually.

Does this only affect Antietam trees and scenery, or all of it on other maps too?

Well, it's mod made for the Antietam maps, so if you dont want it in other maps just deselect in the Mods menu, otherwise it will show in all maps, still looks ok though, and being a mod, it wont screw anything up. Just try it, you may even like it, although it's no big deal. ;)
