Hits and Couriers Games

Several GCM players have expressed interest in playing in the H&C games. Is there a way of knowing when the games are forming other than hanging out in the SOW lobby?

Our group is quite small and we have less choice of players with powerful enough connections to host. I think 7 players has been our biggest game. There are some guys in the GCM group with better hosting abilities so it might be better if a HITS and couriers game was played there.

I'm sure a good few of the HITS&C guys would be happy to play with teh GCM players.

Not using GCM, just vanilla sandbox, we use MTGs "Minimaps And Couriers" mod as the minimaps in there allow more options on descriptive locations which come up in the courier orders window, so we all now play with that.

No other mods are usually activated other than GCM vegetation/trees and GCM toolbar.

A recent trend is we now all use full screen to play and have whisper keys set up in TeamSpeak. We went for the full-screen option as a way to get better game stability. This could be unnecessary if one of the 'regular' GCM guys hosts with more bandwidth.
