okay I'm not talking about Tanks as in Oil Tanks or anything of the kind, I am talking about the pleasure of tank battle in WW2.

Outside of looking for my new game purchases, I have gotten into World of Tanks which really is a cool online game, and I have been playing it on, and off for about 6 days now (too bad they won't turn this into a real offline game).

Now World of Tanks is so cool in fact that it gave back my old feeling of playing my old standby's from very long ago (M1A1 Tank Platoon), which made me start hunting down some of the better tank sim's out there.

I did happen to come across one which is called "Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942". This game looks beautiful, and you can get your hands on the demo from HERE.

This game was fantastic. Under my point of view it had something to do with Sow in the sense of the battle is around you and dynamically the game could be different.
A very realistic simulator. The driving of some tanks were amazing. It was not simply press up and go. The controls were very complete and the feeling great.

I am with you. recommending it.

The only negative could be the slightly lack of content. Not much missions.

I think I am going to buy this game today. Haaaa, their main website doesn't even offer a way to purchase the game... I guess I may have to go, and buy it from Amazon. It's only $19.95 (not including taxes of course).

Not a bad price for what you are getting. The sound is simply incredible.

Also read the reviews out there. Armchair Generals review is a trusted source.

The amount of missions are spread out through 3 campaigns, and I have a link to a website that hosts quite a few mods, and single player missions, along with a couple of extra campaigns... Well worth the price

:)
