proper music

Post by redcoat »

greetings all.
major general gunship has commanded me to put up some period military music for the mod so i obey!

i have a collection of allsorts of accurate stuff for most of the major antagonists of the wars so as soon as ive figured out how to do it,i'll post up zipped versions of what i got.

i thought i had done it but my first attempt seems to have flown off into the ether (par for the course for bannanna fingered me!)

so,once ive worked out what the hell i did wrong the first time the french will be first.
well they did start the wars after all! cheers

Redcoat, not sure if there's limitations on what filetypes you can attach to your posts. You'd probably need some server/web space somewhere to upload your files to. Your ISP might be able to provide some. Sadly due to the Megaupload court case many of the filesharing sites have stopped offering a general download service, but you could try some of those.
HITS & Couriers - a different and realistic way to play SoW MP.

Excellent point saddletank.

If you need a ftp for your files there redcoat, I could make an account for you if you wish. Up to you though.

Is 7z a supported archive for this forum?

That would do it, or as saddletank mentioned the size of the file could be locked at 2 meg or so.

I was able to download the music before so no idea why it doesnt work now.I suppose everything available on the forum is hosted somewhere so there must be a limit on the file size. If you have video with the track you can try to strip the track out of it to mp3. Otherwise hosting somewhere is the only option.
