help with a mod folder

Post by derAngsthase »

Sorry about my bad english but i try to explain my little problem

I Open the Mod Folder from Gettysburg to look what Mods i have installed. All Folders have Names like "Gun Fire Sound" or "Voice Commands" and so on.But one Folder called "Base",i think its an older one from the Terrain Mod.I have download the new one for the latest 1.4 Patch its called "Trees_Terrain Graphic Mod".And the "Base" Folder i think its from a older Version.
Can i delete the "Base" Folder?
When im open the Base Folder there are two other Folder in it.Its called "Graphics" and "Maps".When i open Graphics its open Terrain and then Terrain_Mod with data sets called Terrain01 til 07.dds.
When i open Maps there are data sets from McPherson_MM.dds,CulpsHill_MM.dds and so on.
Its the Base Folder a Old Version from the Terrain Mod?,and can i delete?,or is it for another Map Pack or so?
I hope somebody can tell me and help

The terrain mod changes the look of the trees and other vegetation. It is not part of a map pack or anything.

I'm not sure how that mod is structured now (it might have been set up with a Base folder to get it to work with 1.4), but just try deleting it.. If it removes the alternate look of the trees, then you can always restore it from the recycle bin. But again, it only affects the look of the trees/vegetation.
