Trees are semi invisible. Is there a way to keep the trees solid?

Sure, there are
two edits that will have to be made.
Scourge of War-Gettysburg \
Work – folder
Look for a file called
SOWGB.ini – it’s a
configuration settings file.
Then change the default lines to the ones that are listed below, you are just changing the following two lines, not any of the other settings.
Options – find this entry under options and change the value to
50
transtree=50
Variables - find this entry under Variables and change the value to
50
#opttranstree=50
That’s about it!

If you dont want to change your SOWGB.ini file, I'm pretty sure you can change it in the game options menu as well - theres a tree transparency radius in there. Set it as low as it will go.

*nods* yeah, just use the game options screen. 50 yards is as low as it goes and its a design function of the game, you can't stop it happening, just the distance at which it happens.
Below that option,
uncheck the 'Make Walls Transparent w/Trees' option to keep the stone walls showing right up close.

Leave it up to
me to try to mod something that already has an
in-game-option , but then again,
I have never been the brightest light in the classroom.
