Thanks for the interests. I am just making some terrain sprites for Crikey. You will have to ask him about the map he is making. You guys will definetly get the inside scoop from him when he is ready. I am just tripping out over the Nappy unit sprites that Gunship made. They look fantastic.

No...No mushrooms Reb!, Just helping Crikey make a real European map to represent the Peninsular. Had to make some olive trees, cork groves, Lombardy Poplars, cypress trees, and grape vineyards, etc, etc. Something much deserved for Gunship and the Nappy comunity. I am in love with the detail of the unit sprites! Are these completely rendered by Gunship in 3d Max, or were some initial renderings or skins from elsewhere manipulated and or ported over? Regardless, great job. I love the detail of the units! It looks great with my new terrain sprites and Crikey's splats and map. We will probably collaborate on another map after this one...who knows...Norb keeps me busy!

Ditto 2ndTx comments. The Nap mod and sprites are terrific. Real quality.

Now if I could convince Gunship to move onto Victorian era escapades, I'd be very happy. :)

Wouldn't he just have to put on plumpy sleeves, feathers in their hats, and crotch enhancement-bulges? :P

No need for crotch enhancements if they are Brits!

Hmmmmmmm....I was under the impression that the Greeks had those braggin' rights. But please, no FaceBook links for confirmations. :woohoo:

Oh, BTW, should have added...gaudy, obnoxious ostrich feathers, dyed pink or light blue, for the hats.

Plumpy sleeves, feathers in hats and codpieces sounds like Elizabethan wars, not Victorian!

As to the chance of a Spanish map - fantastic! Could also work as Italy and even S France.

And... Mexico!
HITS & Couriers - a different and realistic way to play SoW MP.

RB - you're going to have to stay behind after class!

Here's a useful site if you're interested. The Victorian era stuff crops up just after the Napoleonics in the sidebar.

I'll leave it at that as this is Gunship's Pen thread. B)
