Sometimes all you need to do is watch a old movie!

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

I was just browsing through the list of movies, and there are some pretty bad horror movies, interesting to watch though.

I saw House on Haunted hill and The Wasp Woman as a double feature when they first came out in 1959. As some kid I worked with once said "You're a hella old dude!".

Hohummmm...(*cough*)... You are old... haaaa.

Are their any drive-in's anymore in the US? There use to be one where I live, but it stopped being open when some drunken teenagers decided to set fires near the rear end of the drive-in so for the hell of it while people were watching the movie(s).

Pretty sad... I think they should bring them back. Nothing like cramming 7 people into the trunk of the car just to save a few bucks.

I think B is in there somewhere...oh yeah there he is, 3 car middle row from the left.

I'd say that was late 1940s by the looks of the cars. However, where are the speaker posts? Looks like that's a picture of a parking lot. It could be they broadcast the sound on loudspeakers. I don't remember. I was always in the back seat with my girlfriend.

Looks like it. I took this pic without looking it over, and you dog you. It was an interesting way to spend a night out at the movies.

Odd thing being I was always was one stuffed inside the damn trunk with three others. That part I am very happy that ended. Think of it, trying to eat a bag of chips while having some body part stuffed in your face, and having to wait in line wasn't all that cool, especially if one of your friends decided for the hell of it to let a old fart go...Not cool!

I sneaked into a few in the trunk also. And it was just like you described. :(

What!!?? Are you NUTS?!!!

If old cinema trailers have taught me anything, that is EXACTLY where the Blob or aliens or the werewolf will get you. Next you'll be telling me you suggest splitting up in dangerous situations and say 'i'll be right back' everytime you leave the room.
