The MadKids have had a Wii since last Christmas.
This year they got Mario kart w/ the wheels.
I went out & got Call of Duty : World at War w/ the Wii zapper.

These two games are the most fun EVER!

The Wii is amazing! It is basically two game cubes, no upgrade in graphics. All the other consoles are working on newer graphics, at nintendo they just work on great gameplay and an amazing controller. Look who's winning. In the end, gameplay wins over looks.

I love my wii, almost any game is fun with the wiimote, I even play golf(I now have 3 tiger woods games) I HATE PS3 and 360, they are just dumbed down pc's.

When they came out, they were slightly more powerfull then the computers at the time, now a year later(2 for 360) and they are FAR behind most computers you can buy.
My own modretly priced computer is far more powerfull then even the PS3

My two boys got a Wii last week and love it. They play the games that come with it, but want to see what else they can get. I'm more of a PC gamer, but I'm tempted to check out Brother in Arms and the Call of Duty title.

I wouldn*t by call of duty, the only good WW2 shooter for wii is Medal of honor heroes 2. it has two ways of playing, rail shooter, like those in the aracde, where you only shoot, and the rest happens by it self.

But two other shooters that are GREAT are, Red Steel, great weapon feel and cool maps,
But the best of the best is Resident Evil 4, it's realy a Game cube game, but with the wii mote it's a totaly new game, the game is just fantastic, you have the main game that takes mabye 20 hours to play though the first time, but the great stuff is that you unlock stuff and get now weapons so you can realy replay the game time and time again, I have so far played it 5 or 6 times, you get money to upgrade and buy new weapons, and most weapons have their little bonus thing, like the gun I use, when you have it maxed out it does ALOT of damige, thats it's bonus, but another gun, has they bonus that it can shoot thought 5 enemys which is great if you stack up the enemy before you shoot them.

BUT, thats not all, you also have 4 or 5 bonus games, one on which is a totaly new campaign seen from another characters point of veiw, it will take you another 2-3 hours to play though. By the time you are tired of the game you have probebly gotten 50 or 60 hours out of it,

Also for the kids,(and you) mario galaxy is a must, best mario game since mario 64
