Great Short Fiction

Seal started reading Absalom, Absalom!, so we started talking about Faulkner on the GCM Teamspeak server (much to the chagrin of most everyone there). Now. . . my opinion of Faulkner is that he's way too smart for his own good and I can only enjoy extremely clever sentence structures so much before I get bored. Storytelling certainly isn't Faulkner's strong point. At least not in novels.
