This was the full 11 hour Scenario from Antietam - I started on the official Anniversary (Monday the 17th) and finished the last 4 hours just this morning.

I sent Fitzhugh Lee to take the "Crows Nest" - and he did....... with the 1st,5th and 9th VA Cavalry.

The Crows Nest is still no easy task to take. I'll have to go back and check, but unless McClellan grew a pair and sent in his reserve, it should have been heavily defended...

That he did LP. Although the "Crows Nest" was still heavily protected by plenty of Artillery.

Little Mac attempted to send his Reserve across the Antietam towards Longstreet's position - The U.S. Regulars and 1 Brigade of Cavalry made it just across the (Upper?) Bridge and were put in check just there and never had a chance to make it further. I had 4 mixed Brigades of Infantry (only 2 of which were actually needed), 3 Battery's and Munford's Cavalry Brigade waiting for them. Not a pretty sight for the oncoming Yankees - most of the U.S Regulars were broken and fled.

Burnside suffered the worst. Of his entire force only 1 Regiment made it across Rohrbach Bridge and they were quickly expelled by Infantry and double canister. Burnside then attempted a wide flanking movement on my extreme right which I had anticipated - only 2 Regiments made it out of the woods....and were promptly sent packin'!

Most of Burnside's Artillery was destroyed or forced to retreat. I had my ammo wagon's moving double-time to keep supply up for the Guns.

The only OBJ I had to relinquish was the East Woods due to Sumner's movement. But his forces never made it to the Dunker Church. They made it to the fence line just forward of the hill where I had amassed Hood's and Anderson's Artillery and 3 Brigades of Infantry. Unfortunately I lost Evans Command as they were caught from behind during the re-deployment to the Church. They put on a great stand before the end.

The attack at the Sunken Lane was perhaps the most unorganized - They never breached the Lane....I had 3 Brigades of Infantry and 3 Battery's that repulsed them rather quckly. The fight at the Lane was over in about 30 minutes.
