A few questions

Post by GFab »

Hey all

The new game looks great! Thanks for all the hard work that went into it. I am looking forward to buying it once it comes out.

I have a few questions though.

1: Will the railroad cut in the first day's battle be included? I remember seeing a screenshot of a railroad track. While the Gettysburg map for TC2M is great, it does have a lot of landmarks missing. I mean no offense to those who made that map. I love it but do miss seeing those landmarks.

2: What system requirements will one need in order to run the game? From looking at your screenshots there seems to be a lot of detail and I know from my past experience that detail requires an increase in computer performance. I hope my computer will be able to handle it or else I might be helping the economy by upgrading my system.

That’s all I can think of for now. Thanks again.

Hi Gfab!
Don't have a clue about your first question but as far as the system requirements for the new game, its been said here a few times that it'll be similar to those of TC2M. I don't want to speak for NSD but from whats been also said here is there'll be hi-res and other bell 'n whistle options similar to TC2M to satisfy a whole host of lesser or greater PCs'.
Stay tuned maybe a NSD guy will confirm this.

You're right. We try to have options all across the board so that you can play it on almost any system.

From bare maps with 1 uniform per side to something you need a quad core to run.

I'm not the scenario guy, so I can't comment on the first question.

Thanks, that's comforting to know that it should run with no problems on my system.

i'm also not the scenario guy so i can't/won't give away any details... but as the map guy i do know the railroad cut is indeed featured on the Day 1 map; i had to cut all of it out with this plastic spoon here...

Thanks Louie Raider. That's what I wanted to hear. I've seen pictures of the Seminary, Evergreen Cemetary Gatehouse and the Leister house (Meade's HQ) but none of the railroad cut. Glad you spooned it out.
