Scourge Of War: Gettysburg
10 Mile Map
Version 1.0
Author: Davinci

Download Link

Important: You must have patch 1.5 or later to use this mod. Download it at http://www.scourgeofwar.com/downloads.shtml

This mod includes Davinci's 10 x 10 Mile Map. Before now, the largest map available was 5 x 5 mile in size.

Once the installer is finished, simply start the game, go to your Modifications menu, and enable 10MileMapV1. The map will be available in your Sandbox menu.

UPDATED - Version 2 - 11/10/12

You must have Antietam installed for this map to work properly. The map can still be played without Antietam, but you will be missing some buildings and will get an error when the map loads. You can hit the enter key to bypass the error.

Edit: Post 98 details the changes of version 2

Hey Davinci ,

Awesome job !!

;)

I feel like my troops have been marching for like a whole day already ..... :)

As a matter of fact, I am writing this as my troops are marching towards their Objective ! :woohoo:

It's really cool to see them in line on a road just marching to battle !

Once again,

Fantastic job !

:) :)

Couldn't agree more. In fact I recorded a quick YouTube HD of a marching column. It was only two Corps and only 3 miles long. The terrain is busy enough to keep local engagements interesting IMO

You have done a great job fella. I managed a consistent 8 fps with Jackson GB OOB but only 4 fps with whole Antietam Army. Intel I5 Overclocked to 3.58 Ghz, 8GB Ram, AMD 5850

I think SoW videos like this are great. They make 20-unit Total War battle videos look more than a little sad.

I have to say that if you mod the Export unit file you can have 251 man units in Total War. :cheer: Both good games. Although This game is far more strategic. :)
