Scourge of War Boards

Sorry to be such a dunce, but I followed the instructions on how to install a mod. The mods show up in my SOW-GB/mod folder on my c drive, but not in the game when I click the Modifications button. I have the GCM mods in there, but that's it. I am running Windows 7 and I am playing the downloaded game and add ons.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
