OK, which forums are must haves?

Seems like everytime I click on a new thread, it directs me to a new forum.

If you're talking about this board then the initial poster picks their category and the threads stay there. We rarely move anything as it's our policy to not try to interfere with what the members post.

In terms of which ones you should follow, that's a personal decision. You can subscribe to as many as interest you and you'll receive an email whenever someone posts something.

Not sure if I answered your question but if not, there are plenty of people here who will.
