I am thinking of getting the new expansion but first I want to hear from humans who have it already. How is it? Is is the same as Antietam/base game, or an upgrade, or what?

William, get it, my friend. It is really exceptional. The maps are very well done. I wish Antietam and Gettysburg will get an overhall to be on parr with Chancellorsville. The playing is smoother, for me at least. It is everything they said it would be. I bought the hard copy as well as the download. Very easy to do from Matrix. Played first game with in moments of download.

I think it's our best effort yet, if I do say so myself. I do admit to a certain bias but I think others will confirm that.

It can be a stand-alone or addition depending on whether you have GB installed. If you have GB it will install as a map pack; if not it installs as a stand-alone game. You don't need to have purchased GB to play it.
