The Killer Angels?

Hi
Ok so i just finished Gods & Generals and what a great book that was, very much different from the movie. Now, I started The Killer Angels and i've seen Gettysburg quite a number of times and so far they don't seem to differ all that much from each other. My question is: should I just skip it and read The Last Full Measure instead? Or would that make me a horrible human being
I'm sure that The Killer Angels is a great book but since i know the movie so well by now I feel like I would rather read something new. I could be totally wrong in this and that is why i ask you guys for help, maybe the book has some bits in it that the movie didn't which is just mindblowing, i don't know.

Go ahead and read the book. You get so much more from reading any book that was made into a movie. And even if you did see the movie numerous times, as I have also, your imagination will be better in tuned to the words on the pages. IMHO
