Hey guys just thought I would post about Aliens: Colonial Marines, and ask you, NO I'm pleading with you to stay away from this stinking pile of dog dung (actually that is actually an understatement) at all costs.

Here is a link to a review that I fully agree with: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2013/02/a ... enophobia/

I have to say though, this is a total flop, and all I can say is that there are going to be many people really ticked off... Sega really is going to get a beating over this one.

Also, there are plenty of of Video's out there for you to look over.

If you do have a strong desire to own it, no one is going to stop you. Of course it will give me the cool opportunity too say "I told you so" (hehehe).

Oh one more thing, BUY Aliens vs Predator 2010 if hunting Xeno's is your thing, and stay away from Aliens Colonial marines.

I loved the old AvP games, they were absolutely stunning. Playing the same story from the 3 different perspectives was just a really great idea and they did it very well. I was hoping for another good Alien game, thanks for the warning. Bioshock Infinite is on my radar. Loved Dishonored. My son is looking forward to Starcraft, but I'm just disappointed with their DRM. I don't mind 1 time activation, but the constant connection to play single player keeps me from using Blizzard games. My son plays MP though, so he'll get it :)

I loved the old AVP as well, some really cool games. Bioshock Infinite is on my radar as well, and I hope it will be all that they are claiming it too be.

Dishonored is a cool game and Starcraft is also, and it's always worth a purchase that is for sure.

Oh I know the constant online for Single Player is a real nuisance, and something I don't get into, or approve of but if I have that hankering, that hankering must be satisfied (haaa, not really but you get my meaning). I normally buy games from GOG if they are offering them up for purchase otherwise I normally stay away from them all together or install a NOCD sort of thing.

Cheers Norb.

I played AvP, not sure which one though. I do know that the marines motion sensor is one of the best tools I have ever seen for building up tension in a game or movie.

I don't know if the original will work on Win 7 or not. I haven't installed it since my XP days.

Give it a go, and let us know. :)

Well, since I got burned by this game I thought I would play, and record the entire game from start to the horrible end (I'm not kidding, the end is... well you'll see what I mean). The game took close to 5 hours to complete.

The Beginning...

Part 2

Part 3:

Part 4:

The End:
