I playing a little for Road to Wagram logistics file: I tried to use the keepform value to 1 for the line formation, but apparently it doesn't have any effect. I saw in GCM mod it worked for line, why not for RtW?

My guess is that you're applying it to a different line formation that you're testing...double check the names comparing drills and gui. Or, you've got a mod enabled that is canceling out your tests.

I supposed the same and changing the id name it worked, but comparing the original name between gui and drill there is not change (i added simply a "2" at both the files). It is like the id of the standard logistics file had the priority over the mod file in the case of line

I confirm there is something linked to original logistics file of game, because keepform started to work also when i switched of position DRIL_Lvl6_Inf_Line from the first position to another one, but the brigade line formation continue to use the original switching in march column

For brigade lvl5 regiments to keep form column G, SubForm, must include a KeepForm lvl6 version...if that's what you're asking.

No, i'm talking about the single regiment moving; it is strange a regiment move in line, other not also if of the same class.

Well, you lost me.

All I know is that KeepForm has always worked with my builds, from regiment through division levels, and all sub forms. I always make new ID names, leaving the stock ones alone, and build new formations...the gui calling those new formations.

I found a part of puzzle, at the end of GUI there was a additonal gui for the napoleonic part, and this explain why some change and other not, changing the line formation; now I must verify why the simple keepform without changing anything doesn't work for the line
