When creating a new OOB, how do I ensure that the correct leaders are getting the correct portraits? Or is that something that happens based off of leader names? Sorry if I missed this somewhere else.
Thanks,

Leader Portraits?
Re: Leader Portraits?
Use a default OOB and copy the information that is located in the M Column. When creating a new OOB, how do I ensure that the correct leaders are getting the correct portraits?

Re: Leader Portraits?
Thanks, Davinci.
How about when I crete an OOB that does not have commanders from the default OOBs? For instance, if I wanted to add a new corps to the ANV consisting of troops and commanders from Beuregard's Charleston defense force. Would I have to find a picture of the leader and ceate a new portraits file? Is it even possible? I have not played with the Chickamauga OOB yet so maybe I should check that out for some help.
Thanks again. I have not realy done any mod work since Sid's Gettysburg and am trying to ease back into it.

Hmm, I not sure how you would go about adding in a new portrait, I've never added one in.How about when I crete an OOB that does not have commanders from the default OOBs? If, I were trying to add one in, I would probably try taking a short-cut by copying one of the default portraits-graphics-sheets into the Mod and then adding the photo of the new commander on top of one of the existing portraits.
Then, you could use the same information from the M Column , but this time the game would load the new photo instead of the default one.
To put that another way, create a Mod \ Folder called Alternate Photos or something similar, then create another folder called Graphics and place it in the Alternate Photos folder.
Then create another folder and call it Toolbar and place that in the Graphics folder that you just created.
Then copy one of the CS_Portraits_LVL1 or the US_Portraits_LVL1 depending on the side that you are playing into the Toolbar folder that you just created.
Paste a photo on top of one of the pictures that you can recognize, and use the code from whichever OOB that has them listed and place that in the M Column .
In theory that should work, but I've never tried it!
Also, welcome to Modding !
