Well, this has turned into a complete waste of time as the Versions of the music show up as "Not Found." Goddamn I hate this idiocy with Dish. I NEVER had any trouble with Comcast Internet. Grrrrrr.....

.mp3 files aren't allowed as attachments, zip em. And please request a delete of one of these two topics, you're cluttering up the board with redundant threads Sir Jack. B)

When you mouseover the 'Add File', it displays allowable formats for attachments.

RB,

Have set these up previously in both Zip Folder and Win.rar. No joy there. Because of the impressively bad service provided by Dish Network, the website times out beofre the folders can upload. It took five minutes or so to just post the two non-files shown above.

I will take a look at changing the files to a different, more compatible file attachment and try again. It will be nice to have a real job again soon so we can get Comcast internet running again here at the house.

I have all th emusic files installed now, converted them to wavs, named them correctly, referenced them in the sfx and unitglobal files.. and they won't play. Has anyone got these files to play in game? I am thinking they're to big.

I'm thinking you did too much. The march music is referenced randomly and hard coded this way so sides can't be differentiated. I'm pretty sure the only thing that can be modded is replace them in the Sounds folder with the same stock names.

Reason: Sounds folder instead of Music

Cool, I'll try placing the files in the stock sounds folder and see if the game accepts that. Thanks.

Tank,

RB beat me to it. You have to replace the stock music with the new ones. I just saved the old ones in a folder somewhere, for later.

Thanks for the help. I've done that and they still don't play.

Pic of my /Base/Sounds folder showing old wav files remmed out with an 'x' in front and new files with identical names in their place. They simply don't play.
