Adding the TC2M Sounds into SOW:

Not - A - Complete - Mod !
Hey, if anybody remembers way-back-when, we took some of the sounds from the SMG game and added them into the TC2M game.
Such as...when you click the line formation you would hear....Battle-Line ...etc
I play with a modded gui file, the file that controls this, so I tried to delete my modded lines and only leave the lines to hear the battle voices, that didn't work!
So, if anyone would like to add this into their game, you are going to have to edit the gui that you constantly have activated ...Such as Reb's or MTG toolbar Mods.
I have included an example gui_example file, so that you will know which lines to edit, but it is fairly simple to do with an excel-type-program .
I have also included the sounds2 file, where the sounds are located. I named it sounds2 so that no-one will try to Install it and over-ride the default sounds folder.
A Mod can contain a Sounds folder, so it can be renamed to Sounds and placed into a Mod . I have mine added into the Base \ Sounds folder.
The sounds are located in a sfx file that has to be located into the mod. DO Not overwrite your default sfx file.
The Column G in the gui.csv is the location of the sound file name, and the columns T and V explains the function of that particular line.
Basically, it takes quite a bit of writing to explain something that is very simple in real-life.
But, if you match the columns like in the example, it is very simple to edit the voices in the game.
Remember - that you must edit the voices in different sections of the gui.csv file...such as...
GUI_LVL6 - is for the Regiments .....check the gui_example file
GUI_LVL5 - is for the Brigade Commanders .....check the gui_example file
GUI_LVL4 - is for the Division Commanders .....check the gui_example file
ETC...
Any Questions - I'll be happy to answer them!
