Yes it is.

I have played over this battlefield so many times, not just with your creation but with Sid Meier's as well. And read several books on different tactical and operational aspects of the battle.

To travel over their creation in this video is as close as I will ever get to being there, as it was at the time of the battle. Imagine reading a book about the battle, and being able to go to the specific point on their map that you are reading about. And look around and feel what it would have been like at that place and moment.

I'll probably buy their game just for the map.

"...Burnside's Bridge... technically this should be known as Middle Bridge, however the constraints of the game has forced us to slightly alter the map..."

If the Middle Bridge site is replaced by Burnsides bridge site... I'd say that was more than a slight alteration. Just as I said before. It looks lovely but its not accurate. I wonder what the gameplay is like.

Well, yeah.. we are aware of that. But as said in the video, it was needed to alterate the map. Otherwise, the map would be to big and we would have loose that important battle scene.

There will be more gameplay footage soon.. but this is the only "real" gameplay footage so far:

And some more Yankees to show :D

Interesting thread! Well, release of WoR will be decided in a week's time; if the kickstarter campaign generates a minimum of £70k all will continue to be fine and dandy. It is appearing to be a reasonable prospect, presently.

Now if only this project was Waterloo, Austerlitz or even Marengo ..... ;)

Hey guys and happy new year.

Thank you for your support, I am pretty sure some of you backed our project as well. We finished our Kickstarter campaign and we hope, we will get out the first alpha very soon for those who donated :)

Waterloo would be an interesting topic in the future, indeed!
I doubt that there are many first person simulations out there, featureing the napoleonic wars
