Scourge of War Boards

I have downloaded mods before and they have worked for me, but the last four or so mods I have tried have not worked. I download the mod, extract the files into the Mods folder like I should. I start up the game and go to activate the mod but I do not see the mod I just placed in the mod folder. The last mod that worked for me is the random maps mod. help please.

It's either still zipped or there's a period in the name. Even an empty 'New Folder' will show up when in the Mods folder.
