Scourge of War Boards

I purchased this game today and tried to download it to my computer. When I try to play it I get the following error message:

Runtime error!

Program C:\.....

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Can you assist?

I should have mentioned that I'm using Windows 7 O/S.

The game work great on windows 7, one thing I was unaware of in windows 7. There is a setting in power settings (view small icons) I believe... that needs to be changed from "Passive" ...to "Active" If you are available today will boot up my Win 7 machine and try to help ya make sure what correct path is. DO NOT upgrade to win 8..

How far did you get? Did you see the Matrix start window?

If you can, please post your SOWGB.log file, found in the Work folder.

Did you try another install, also a download can be corrupt, maybe try that again...

Got to the start game menu but got same error message.

No joy.

Will try again with the disc when it arrives.

Try this please: Open the Base/Music folders and find 'SOWGB_Intro'...delete or rename it. Try to start again.
