The game appears in the registry, because Windows 8 (which I reinstalled because of registry problems, but which allowed me to keep my personal files)& upgraded to 8.1 per Microsoft. The problem is that, even after downloading the Gettysburg component again, I get all the text "browned out" in the Lee/Meade intro. I can't advance it, nor can I go back. I must restart the computer & I can't play the game, even though it appears to be all there in the registry. I've forgotten how to deal with this problem. Please refresh my memory.
